博采众长获神变
在漫长的艺术生涯中，郎卡杰常拜谒嘎玛噶孜画派画师来汲取所长；常与茶马古道商旅倾心交流来开阔视野。据传，他只手可随意画出规范的圆圈，并在圆圈内绘制出琳琅满目的山水、亭台楼阁和西洋房舍等汉地景象。公元十七世纪中期，郎卡杰绘画作品曾作为邦交礼物被藏地使臣赠与汉地朝廷。

དུས་ཡུན་རིང་པོའི་སྒྱུ་རྩལ་འཚོ་བའི་ཁྲོད་ནམ་མཁའ་རྒྱལ་གྱིས་རྟག་ཏུ་ཀརྨ་སྒར་བྲིས་ལུགས་ཀྱི་རི་མོ་མཁས་ཅན་ལ་མཇལ་བར་ཡོང་གི་ཡོད། རྟག་ཏུ་ཇ་རྟ་གནའ་ལམ་གྱི་ཚོང་འགྲུལ་དང་ལྷག་བསམ་རྣམ་དག་གིས་སྤེལ་རེས་བྱས་ནས་མཐོང་རྒྱ་ཆེ་རུ་གཏོང་གི་ཡོད། བཤད་ཚུལ་ལྟར་ན་ཁོང་གིས་གང་འདོད་དུ་ཚད་ལྡན་གྱི་སྒོར་དབྱིབས་བྲིས་པ་མ་ཟད། སྒོར་དབྱིབས་ནང་དུ་མཛེས་ཤིང་ཕུན་སུམ་ཚོགས་པའི་རི་ཆུ་དང་། བསིལ་ཁང་དང་ཁང་བ། ནུབ་གླིང་གི་ཁང་པ་སོགས་རྒྱ་སའི་རྣམ་པ་བྲིས་ཡོད། སྤྱི་ལོའི་དུས་རབས་བཅུ་བདུན་པའི་དུས་དཀྱིལ་དུ་རྣམ་རྒྱལ་གྱི་རི་མོའི་བརྩམས་ཆོས་དེ་བོད་ཀྱི་འབྲེལ་བའི་ལག་རྟགས་སུ་བརྩིས་ནས་ཧན་ཏིའི་གོང་མའི་སྲིད་གཞུང་ལ་ཕུལ་ཡོད།
Gaining Divine Transformation by Learning from All
Throughout his long artistic career, Langkajie often visited painters of the Gamagezi School of Painting to learn from them; he also frequently exchanged ideas with merchants on the Ancient Tea Horse Road to broaden his horizons. It is said that he could effortlessly draw a perfect circle with one hand and within the circle, paint a variety of landscapes,pavilions, and Western-style buildings from the Han region. In the mid-17th century, Langkajie's paintings were presented as diplomatic gifts from Tibetan envoys to the Han dynasty court.
