勤劳善良获神授
十七世纪初，郎卡杰的出生地朱巴村风景如画，勤劳善良的郎卡杰母亲和其他村民劳作其间。郎卡杰自幼喜爱绘画、天资聪颖。一日，他携画笔颜料，和母亲放牧，不知不觉在睡梦中梦见莲花生大师坐在一朵彩云中，诲其绘画。醒来时，顿悟画技，即依梦托，用画笔颜料在旁石上随心所欲画起来。此后，他坚持勤学苦练、博采众长，从而习得唐卡绘画技艺。

Diligence and Kindness Bestowed by the Divine
In the early 17th century, in the village of Zhuba, where Langkajie was born, was a picturesque place where his hardworking and kind-hearted mother and other villagers worked. Lang Kajie loved painting from a young age and was naturally gifted. One day, while herding with his mother, he fell asleep and dreamt of Gura Padmasambhava sitting on a colorful cloud, teaching him painting. Upon waking, he suddenly understood the art of painting and began to freely create on a nearby stone with his brush and pigments. Thereafter, he persisted in diligent study and practice, learning from the best, and thus mastered the art of Thangka painting.
